so stealing art then getting a DD and then someone asking if it's there's and them saying no isn't considered art theft now?

How much copyright law did you understand when you were 14? I'm sure they didn't sit there and think, "I know, I'll steal someones photo of a tattoo and put it on dA". I'm guessing they liked the piece and thought it would be ok to post it here, unaware of the copyright infringement issues. A load of people getting angry doesn't solve anything, perhaps someone should've actually bothered to explain why it was wrong, not just state the obvious.

And for the record I didn't say that it wasn't theft. And the piece has been taken down in accordance with dA's T&C.

*rolls eyes* There's other stolen art on her page too. It'd better to forgive and forget if she was banned altogether for art theft. Everyone else gets the third degree.

People need to stop throwing the "WE ALL MAKE MISTAKES" card and make DA to what it used to be before it became another myspace.
